inktober day 5

I was addicted to Red Hots as a kid. I  would crawl around and search under sofa cushions because I guess I missed my mouth when I ate them.  Thankfully I keep them in balls in my studio now. I love how they are spicy and sweet at the same time. Maybe that is why I like curry yams? Maybe.......

So this is the many days on #inktober2015. I'm enjoying it but I would be lying if I said I like to spend way more time on my paintings. I did go out and buy myself better Japanese ink for this month. I have given myself themes for each week and a way to keep it all moving. 

My hope is you enjoy my videos I do this month and share with people. 

always

I'm always making. I say it in a lot of things. It is my mantra. It's easy to fall back and not keep tying to make more and more art. That fear of repeating and becoming boring lives there but I have learned that fear is a motivator to not waste time listening to it. You can always work on ideas and concepts. Concepts are the tail bed of  dreams. ........I just want to live in those concepts across the page.

I'm painting all these pieces and as I stop to wash brushes and my hands I  notice a stack of book I never finished and I know they are in my future. My mind is always moving in so many places. when I stop sometimes my vision shows me things that only my cat can see. I know I look like a crazy person in those moments but I am who I am I guess.
